The Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 112 opposes the constitutional amendment, Issue 1. The FOP knows there needs to be a change of course when it comes to combating the opioid crisis, what we are doing today, is not working. We just don’t believe a constitutional amendment is the best way to do this.
We agree with many Judges, Prosecutors, and politicians from both sides of the isle that reform is long overdue to our criminal code, and that we must find a way to keep the violent criminals and those selling drugs behind bars, while giving those in the throes of addiction a path to better health. We join those calling upon the General Assembly to take up consideration of the 130th General Assembly’s Recodification Committee report and look forward to working with the next Governor to implement long overdue reforms to better serve and protect our citizens.
The membership dues for 2018 are now due, and must be paid no later than March 1, 2018. If paid after March 1, then you will be assessed a $10 late fee, and you will be subject to suspension from the Lodge. Dues may be paid via US Mail. If paying by mail, include a self addressed stamped envelope with your check.
Due to limited finances, we can not pay for mail delivery. Each member will receive two (2) auto window decals with their membership card, upon full payment of dues. Addition decals are available for 55 cents each (this is same amount that the Grand Lodge charges the Lodge).
Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
Effective July 15, 2015 the members present at the Stated Meeting, after three consecutive readings on the Resolution, voted to increase the annual dues for active working members. See the Dues Structure here.....
The Law Enforcement community in southwestern Ohio has created a 501C3 organization dedicated to providing immediate resources and financial support for the families of officers killed, or permanently disabled in the line of duty.
